“My desire to support others fuels my passion and inspires my creativity in delivering solutions for my clients.”
I’m Chanel Coetzer, Managing Director and Owner of New Wave HR Consulting. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep understanding of human resources, and today, I’m proud to lead a consultancy that helps organisations navigate HR complexities, and handle disputes and difficult situations while fostering positive, productive workplaces.
My journey began with a passion for people and their potential. I hold a Bachelor's degree in HR Management and an Honours degree in Employee Relations, which laid the foundation for my career. I further enhanced my expertise by completing an advanced diploma in Employee Legislation and Dispute Resolution, allowing me to confidently handle the more intricate aspects of HR and Employee Relations.
I started my career in South Africa, gaining valuable experience in the consulting space. This experience taught me the importance of tailored, strategic HR solutions that align with both the needs of the organisation and its employees. After immigrating to Australia, I continued to build my knowledge across multiple industries, refining my ability to address diverse HR challenges and find creative solutions to Employee Relations cases.
One of my key goals has always been to ensure that every business, no matter its size, has access to accurate and suitable employee solutions that help them thrive. I know that navigating HR requirements can be daunting, especially when it comes to avoiding hefty Fair Work penalties. That’s why I’m passionate about offering businesses the support they need, without the need to hire an entire HR team. By providing expert advice and practical, tailored solutions, I help organisations create positive work environments while ensuring compliance with workplace laws.
I’m committed to helping businesses build strong teams, resolve disputes, and cultivate a culture where people thrive. I aim to provide businesses with the HR and Employee Relations tools and strategies they need to succeed, grow, and reach their full potential.
